If you’ve ever watched the mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap, you know the comedic brilliance of Nigel Tufnel pondering his band’s all-black album cover: “How much more black could this be? The answer is none. None more black.” That quote feels oddly fitting when describing our latest creation—a custom fifth-wheel steer trailer designed with a sleek, satin black finish that turns productivity up to 11.
Designed for a leading supplier of industrial air compressors, this black beauty combines style and strength. With a capacity of 14,000 pounds and running gear featuring eight dual-mounted solid pneumatic wheels, it’s built to handle heavy-duty jobs with ease. And that satin finish? Call it rock ‘n’ roll thunder.
It’s all part of an ongoing collaboration with the customer, who has purchased six of these trailers so far (a previous design—a drop-deck model for taller compressors—even made its way into a previous Revolution post). Like Hamilton, our customer’s a family-owned operation, and that alignment in values makes every project feel like a natural fit.
Fade to black on a job well done.
