It’s not every day you get asked to build a cart designed to survive a blast furnace. Then again, Hamilton doesn’t build everyday carts.
That was the challenge when an aerospace giant needed a custom transport cart tough enough to roll straight into the fire. Literally. The mission: shuttling tooling in and out of an autoclave, where temperatures soar and weak links melt.
Every detail had to handle the heat, so we built the cart to match—from the steel deck coated in high-temp paint to the high-heat casters equipped with brakes for control under pressure. At 8 feet long and 5,000 pounds strong, it’s a rolling oven mitt on wheels, ready to handle extreme temps and designed with a 24-inch deck height for ergonomic ease.
So go ahead. Crank up the heat. When it comes to your productivity, Hamilton always keeps its cool.
