When companies need to move gas containers, worm gears, or other large cylindrical objects, cradle carts, dollies, and trailers offer the best solution. This cart functions as a simple manually pushed dolly. The truck’s primary feature is its raised cradle. A trio of simple notches in the wood supports allow up to three parts to be transported simultaneously, maximizing utility. The wooden contact surface affords the payload’s surface better protection than steel, averting scratches and other possible damage to the parts’ finish.
Four lugs mounted to the corners of the cart allow it to be lifted when empty. Caster steering provides nimble maneuverability, with foot brakes to lock it in place during loading and unloading. Having the foot brakes on the rigid casters keeps the pedals accessible at all times. Open frame construction minimizes the cart’s weight, and that coupled with the 8” diameter ErgoGlide wheels deliver optimum ergonomic advantages to those pushing the loaded cart.
