This custom roll handling cart designed for a Fortune 100 company holds rolls of various lengths and diameters at an ideal height for loading and unloading. The cart has a carrying capacity of 8000 lbs. The rubber-coated cradles are designed to accept rolls placed slightly off center lengthwise, protect them, and carry them in either direction, allowing the cart to function with no “front” or “back.” In addition, the tilt-truck feature allows for tight turning about its center via large center load wheels, navigating tight corners and cramped aisle ways.
Footbrakes on the two load wheels hold the cart against inadvertent rolling regardless of its position. To minimize the push/pull forces and still protect the factory floor from excessive wear, the cart features Hamilton’s Ergo-Glide® wheels with a softer 82A Durometer tread. This permits the maximum ergonomic benefits along with noise reduction, floor protection, and resistance to picking up foreign objects and debris from the floor. Handles at either end accommodate operators pushing as desired.
